Dedicated to Excellence in Health Care Management

AMS as your IOO

AMS has been selected by the Regional Extension Center (REC) in the state of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MaeHi), as one of a number of certified Implementation and Optimization Organizations (IOO) to help primary care physicians in MA with the implementation and Meaningful Use optimization of electronic health records (EHRs).

Currently, AMS is contracted with and assisting over 50 providers across the state in their efforts to receive incentive payments from the federal government through their use of a certified EHR in their practice.  AMS is working with practice sizes ranging from single providers to the maximum allowed for incentive funds through this initiative of ten providers at a single location.  We are working with pediatricians, internal medicine, family medicine and other specialty practices.  In every case, we assist them in the selection and implementation of a certified EHR and/or enhance their usage of existing EHR technology in order to meet Meaningful Use criteria and qualify for the federal monetary incentives.

We are able to work with practices who are members of the REC, and also discuss options for practices who are not REC members and require some assistance in working their way towards qualifying for the federal incentive dollars.  Below is some material to assist you in understanding how AMS can assist in your practice to achieve Meaningful Use.
