Thomas P. Souliotis
With 20+ years of health care and management engineering experience, Mr. Souliotis brings the following attributes to the AMS health care consulting practice:
A broad knowledge of the financial and operational activities of a hospital. Responsibilities have included hospital interim management as controller, chief operating officer, administrator/CEO, special project manager and facilitator.
A “take charge” leader who steps in and motivates and directs hospital staff at all levels to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks a step at a time. This has included settling complex reimbursement and payment situations and leading major hospital computer conversions to new systems.
Mr. Souliotis has received several governmental acknowledgments including a letter of gratitude recognizing “expertise and creativity” from the Massachusetts Commissioner of the Department of Public Health and the key to the city of Worcester, MA.
Prior to joining AMS, Mr. Souliotis spent time in industry, first with Pratt-Whitney Aircraft Corporation and then with Raytheon Corporation. He was actively involved in traditional industrial engineering applications in both productivity management and cost accounting.
