Our Qualifications
Over 30 years of service to health care organizations AMS has served more than 700 clients nationwide and performed more than 7,000 operational analyses with an earned reputation as a pioneer for applying innovative techniques to health care systems and original research. In 1967, through a Kellogg Foundation grant, AMS was one of the first firms in the country to apply industrial engineering concepts and principles to health care operations management. In 1988, through its own research and development fund, AMS sponsored and performed a groundbreaking DRG case analysis that has helped to change medical practice patterns. AMS continues to pioneer and embrace new techniques to custom fit innovative applications based on each client's specific criteria. Our strategic planning and redesign practices, an outgrowth of the expertise of our CQI and operations consulting practices, are examples of our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence. Our updated cost-center level and enterprise-wide resource monitoring systems are recent examples of our committment to providing state-of-the-art management systems.
