TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Ms. Brommer brings over 25 years of progressive operations management
experience in both for profit and non-profit institutions. Executive
level leader in the operations of multiple hospital diagnostic services
departments, including laboratory, cardiovascular services, imaging
services, sleep lab, neurodiagnostic and rehabilitation services. She
has excellent organizational and planning skills related to program
development, human resource management, budgeting, customer service and
physician relations.
Her previous responsibilities included the
following:

Project management for relocation of complex
laboratory operations.

Productivity assessments of laboratory, imaging
and respiratory therapy departments involving workplace redesign,
process and workflow improvements, and automation implementation.

Assessment of Outreach opportunities, business
planning and laboratory consolidation.

Direct overall operations and administration of
laboratory services, imaging services, cardiovascular services,
and off-site outpatient diagnostic centers, with more than 175 FTEs
and an expense budget of greater than $14 million.

Successful evaluation and implementation of a
Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) in imaging services
with concurrent improvement in customer service including decreased
report turnaround time and improved communications and customer
satisfaction.

Hospital Safety Officer and Chair of Environment
of Care Safety Committee, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission EOC regulations
in all areas.

Development of hospital-wide Patient Safety program,
serving as patient safety officer, with extensive performance management
responsibilities including conducting proactive FMEA risk reduction
efforts and leading initiatives to achieve compliance with Joint
Commission
standards and National Patient Safety Goals.

Acting Vice President of Operations, responsible for key operational areas including
diagnostics, pharmacy,
respiratory therapy, rehabilitation services, dietary, housekeeping,
laundry and facilities.

Successfully recruited and negotiated hospital-based
physician contract for pathology services.
