With over 25 years as a consultant at AMS, Mr. Souliotis has been facilitating process improvement in such areas as surgical suite, emergency medicine, materials management, radiology, case management, and all dimensions of the revenue cycle. He has a broad knowledge of the financial and operational activities of a hospital. These include accounts receivables management,  reimbursement, information systems conversion and stabilizations. He has managed several large-scale computer conversions and participated in numerous efforts to define and assist hospitals in realizing the benefits of conversion. In receivables management, he has worked with many patient accounting departments in defining systems problems and other issues which are causing higher than normal days in receivable. Other areas of expertise include materials management, cost accounting patient/clinical scheduling, productivity management and budget performance monitoring.

Prior to joining AMS, Mr. Souliotis spent time in industry, first with Pratt-Whitney Aircraft Corporation and then with Raytheon Corporation. He was actively involved in traditional industrial engineering applications in both productivity management and cost accounting.
